Consultation on Cheshire East Council's Falls Prevention Strategy 2019 - 2022

1. Introduction

Purpose of the consultation

Every year older people in Cheshire East fall and injure themselves, sometimes severely. Often the fall results in the person needing to stay in hospital, and can permanently reduce their health and wellbeing.

Cheshire East Council, Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, and partners, have drafted a Falls Prevention Strategy which outlines the approach to falls prevention that will be taken within Cheshire East over the next three years.

We would now like your feedback on this draft Falls Prevention Strategy (PDF, 177KB, 12 pages long).

Submitting your comments

The consultation is open until 5pm on Friday 8 March, and you can respond with your feedback on the strategy either by:
  • Completing this questionnaire
  • Emailing
  • Writing to the Research and Consultation Team, Second Floor, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ.
Once the consultation closes, we will finalise the strategy and submit this to the Cheshire East Health and Wellbeing Board for further consideration.
