What are ‘Day Opportunities’
Day opportunities help people with a variety of care and support needs such as learning disabilities, and/or autism, dementia or a physical disability. These services are currently delivered away from peoples own homes offering opportunities for people to learn or improve upon skills and hobbies, to socialise and take part in leisure activities. Care, assistance and support is available at each service to help people.
Have your say on the future of day opportunities in Cheshire East
If you, a member of your family or somebody you have caring responsibilities for accesses day opportunities (a day service) or may do so in the future we want to hear from you.
To help us plan and develop services for the future, we want to understand how you feel about current day opportunities, if the service offered meets your current and future expectations and what ideas you might have for new approaches.

Please refer to your experience of day opportunities prior to March 2020 when answering questions related to usual service provision. This will give us a more accurate understanding for when they are running at the usual capacity.

We will be analysing and exploring the results of this survey along with other engagement activity to aid in the development of our 'Day Opportunities Strategy' for Cheshire East.
