Cheshire East Council are currently developing a Dementia Strategy to consider local support needs in relation to dementia, together with service provision, in order to strive to have the right services, in the right place, for the right people at the right time.
Our vision is to make a real and positive difference to the lives of people affected by Dementia living in Cheshire East. We want to ensure that people with Dementia and their carers receive high quality, compassionate, and timely care whether they are at home, in hospital or in a Care Home. We will continue to strive to make Cheshire East a truly Dementia Friendly community.
The following principles will be used throughout the Strategy:
- Preventing Well
- Diagnosing Well
- Supporting Well
- Living Well
- Dying Well
At this point this is an opportunity for you to have your say so we can ascertain how service users, their families and carers feel about the statements in this survey. We will be consulting on the contents of the draft strategy later on in the year.
The closing date for responses is 14 August 2020.
If you have any questions or issues accessing this survey then please telephone: 01270 375120 (please note that during the current pandemic period, this contact number is a voicemail only so please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon as possible).
