Crisis and Resilience Fund Engagement Survey

Introduction

The Government has provided funding to local councils through the new Crisis and Resilience Fund for the period April 2026 to March 2029. The fund is designed to help people who are facing unexpected financial difficulties, such as rising household costs, loss of income, debt, illness, or other life events that can put pressure on household finances. It also aims to help people build their financial resilience, so they are better able to manage future challenges and avoid reaching crisis point.

Cheshire East Council is working with local organisations and community groups to improve the support available to residents. We want to make sure people can access help quickly when they need it and are also connected to longer-term support that helps them become more financially secure.

We're interested in hearing your views about the types of support that would make the biggest difference to people and communities across Cheshire East. Your feedback will help shape future services and ensure available funding is used where it can have the greatest impact.

Please respond by 31 August 2026.
