Join Cheshire East Council’s Community Voices Panel

We, the Research and Consultation Team at Cheshire East Council, manage the council’s Community Voices Panel (previously known as the Digital Influence Panel) –  where residents of Cheshire East can share their views and help shape local services.

Who can join?

Anyone aged 16 or over who lives in Cheshire East is welcome to become a member.

How does it work?
You will need an email address to sign up as all invites and communication will be sent via email.

As a member, you’ll have a range of opportunities to get involved. Alongside regular online surveys and consultations, you can also take part in more in-depth activities such as focus groups and community assemblies:

  • Focus group: Small, interactive sessions where participants discuss specific topics in detail.
  • Community assembly: A larger, structured conversation where residents come together to learn about and discuss one or more issues. The aim is to share information, encourage dialogue, and develop recommendations that reflect the communities views.

What will you do as a member?

You’ll be invited to take part in consultations and activities covering a wide range of topics. Whether through surveys, discussions, or assemblies, your input will directly inform how services are designed and delivered.

From transport and housing to health and community initiatives, the council runs many engagement opportunities throughout the year. Being part of the panel is a meaningful way to stay informed and influence decisions that affect your area.

Your involvement is voluntary and flexible
You can choose how you take part and how often, and you’re free to leave the panel at any time.
