Purpose of this formThe Keep Safe Cope Well Plan (PDF, 950KB) is a pocket size plan for children and young people to use at school and at home. It is a child-led approach that helps them identify their own coping skills and a safe person who they can talk to at school and in their home. This plan has been developed together with local mental health and public health professionals and children and young people. The purpose of the plan is to help navigate conversations with children around emotional wellbeing and includes five sections:
- Problems that they are facing
- Explore and identify their individual coping skills
- Awareness of support from professionals in school
- Support network outside of school
- Signposting of services
The Public Health Service at Cheshire East Council would now like to know what you think about this plan - what is helpful about it and what can be improved? This survey should only take a few minutes to complete - Feedback will be used to improve the plans and to help decide how they should be used in the future.
